World Bipolar Day 2024

Many are unaware that today, March 30, is the day commemorating Bipolar disorder worldwide. Bipolar disorder is one of several existing mental illnesses. Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings encompassing manic and depressive emotions. Here are some symptoms typically associated with Bipolar disorder: Symptoms of Manic Episodes: • Feeling extremely happy or easily irritable • Having inflated self-esteem • Increased energy levels and activity • Rapid flow of ideas and speech • Impulsive behavior and engaging in risky activities such as excessive spending and reckless driving • Reduced need for sleep • Difficulty concentrating or focusing on tasks • Unrealistic beliefs about abilities or self-power Symptoms of Depressive Episodes: • Feeling sad, hopeless, or empty throughout the day • Loss of interest or pleasure in once enjoyable activities • Changes in appetite or weight • Insomnia or excessive sleeping • Fatigue or loss of energy • Excessive feelings of worthlessness or guilt • Difficulty concentrating, making decisions, or remembering things • Thoughts of death or suicide, suicide attempts, or self-harming behavior It is important to note that these changes can vary from individual to individual. Some individuals may experience episodes more frequently and severely, while others may have longer periods of stability between episodes. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of Bipolar disorder, it is important to seek help from a mental health professional. Bipolar disorder is a treatable condition, and with proper diagnosis and management, patients can lead fulfilling lives. Treatment typically involves a combination of medication, psychotherapy, and lifestyle changes. Early intervention can improve outcomes and quality of life for individuals with Bipolar disorder. I have experienced most of these Bipolar symptoms myself over the years. It's not a joke. Mental illness is indeed very real. Every year, the number of mental health cases increases and is concerning. How can this illness affect individuals? When and why? I share everything in my ebook, "Bipolar Warrior." Society must be aware of the existence of mental illness and take early steps to prevent it from affecting them. Prevent before it gets severe. HAPPY WORLD BIPOLAR DAY. March 30, 2024.
